Numerous civilizations have risen and fallen over the millennia. However which one is the oldest on file?

Round 4000 B.C., the earliest part of the Sumerian tradition arose because the oldest civilization within the Mesopotamia area, in what’s now largely Iraq. The Sumerians are named after the traditional metropolis of Sumer, which was a number of miles south of the fashionable metropolis of Kut, in japanese Iraq. Archaeologists name the earliest Sumerian part the Uruk interval (opens in new tab), after the equally historic metropolis of Uruk about 50 miles (80 kilometers) to the southwest, the place most of the oldest Sumerian artifacts have been discovered.
