Embryo Geometry – the Node

Expensive Node Colleagues,

That is my inaugural Node put up. Round 1990, Stephen Jay Gould devoted my copy of his Ontogeny and Phylogeny (1979), writing, “Thanks for tackling my actual e book.” As a chemical engineer, I took it critically when Gould whispered that improvement will not be encoded within the genes and to neglect pure choice.

The succeeding thirty years of lab work by scientists and scientific artists attributing morphogenesis to mechanical causes has garnered many papers and lots of of illustrations overlaying most advanced taxa. Not too long ago, we demonstrated vertebrate origins in self-organized patterns that happen within the predictable geometry of serial, sequential cell division.

The authors hope that the various aspects of our work will encourage additional investigation. We invite feedback and attainable collaboration.
